School Age Calculator is a free tool for parents that answers one question instantly: "what grade is my child in, and when do they start school?" Enter a birth date and your state's kindergarten cutoff date — the calculator shows the current grade, exact age, and a year-by-year timeline from kindergarten through Grade 12 graduation. Everything runs in your browser; no data is uploaded.

Built by Seif AM, a developer and parent who kept having to manually work out grade eligibility every enrollment season. Cutoff dates vary by state, leap-year birthdays need special handling, and the math is easy to get wrong. This tool gets it right automatically.
